Pracaxi oil is a vegetable oil with extraordinary bioactive properties, used in cosmetics, therapeutic, and medicinal applications. It is among the most moisturizing oils, both for skin and hair, and is considered a natural silicone.

Rich in fatty acids such as Omega 9, lignoceric acid, and behenic acid, among others in smaller quantities, it is a powerful cell-renewing agent, healing, and antiseptic. It treats skin conditions such as acne, severe rosacea, and psoriasis, prevents the formation of keloids, smooths dark spots caused by hormonal changes, and is used in the treatment of stretch marks.

Omega 9 naturally makes up the skin’s protective barrier and promotes nutrient absorption, lignoceric acid has protective action, and behenic acid has conditioning action, improving combability both wet and dry, and increases softness and hydration; on the skin, it provides a velvety and smooth touch.

This wonderful oil has antioxidant properties and naturally stimulates collagen and hyaluronic acid synthesis in the skin. Thus, it directly addresses expression lines and wrinkle reduction, revitalizes, and promotes elasticity. It is highly recommended for caring for the delicate skin around the eyes.

It also has repellent properties, similar to andiroba oil, specifically against the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which is the vector for dengue.
